B & L were delighted to install a pair of excellent bespoke rebound doors in a sports hall at Warwick University recently.
Rebound doors feature panels above and below the crash bar (panic bar) to protect people using the sports hall from accidental injury. These panels also recess the crash bar to prevent heavy sports equipment such as basketballs rebounding against the door from accidentally opening the door.
As sports halls (or gymnasium rooms) have a large number of frequent users, our rebound doors are built to cope with high frequency operation and impacts.

Sports halls typically contain expensive equipment as do gymnasia. We design in a high level of security for all of our steel doors as opportunist theft is a risk to any premises.
